One Person Hospitalized, Two Dogs Killed In Warren County House Fire

One person was hospitalized and two dogs were killed in a Warren County house fire Monday afternoon, state police said.

The fire broke out at a home on the 600 block of Marble Hill Road in Harmony Township shortly before 12:15 p.m., NJSP Trooper Alejandro Goez said.

Two people successfully exited the home, though one of them was subsequently taken to St. Luke’s Warren Campus to be treated for smoke inhalation, Goez said.

Two dogs were also killed in the fire, authorities said.

The cause of the fire was deemed accidental/non-suspicious by the Warren County Fire Marshal.
